The 2007 Festival kicks off with a huge cabaret dinner and floorshow in the Town Hall featuring the Julie O'Hara Band, and the infamous Howlers Cotton Club with guest vocalist, Carol Ralph. Dress to impress and call in the babysitters!!
The weekend features jazz legends Bob Barnard AM, Nick Polites, Gail Kingston and Hot Foot Jazz, along with a rare meeting of State Summit, and many of your favourites, including Hugh de Rosayro's New Orleans Nite Owls.
Release your inner jazz baby, tap your feet to Trad, New Orleans Dixie, and Cajun jazz, and soak up the unique atmosphere of the Macedon Ranges.
Street music, the Kyneton Farmers’ Market, heritage tours, open winery cellar doors, quality food and drink options, and open gardens complement the music playing all weekend in four historic venues in Kyneton – the Town Hall, St Mary's Hall, the Mechanics' Institute Marquee and Bluestone Rise @ the Bluestone Theatre.
In what will be part of a memorable day, Calling All Angels, 4 voices, with Judy Jacques, Margie Lou Dyer, Rebecca Barnard and Margot Barrett, will present Gospel songs and Spirituals in the magnificent Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on Sunday 14 October.

The Macedon Ranges Jazz and Heritage Festival is now firmly on the calendar as one of the premier events in the Macedon Ranges region.
This year's festival boasts a quality line-up of Australian jazz talent, playing in some of the most beautiful heritage venues in Victoria, so it's no wonder that thousands of jazz lovers from around the country will flock to the Macedon Ranges over the festival period.
The streets will be alive with the sounds and colours of the 2007 Midland Express/elliottprint Macedon Ranges Jazz & Heritage Festival, and it is an event that is eagerly anticipated by local residents for its fun, frivolity and high-class musicianship.
The Macedon Ranges is renowned for its warmth and hospitality towards visitors, and we hope that, during your stay, you find the time to explore the many wonderful attractions within our region.
Perhaps you could experience the mystique of Hanging Rock, take in the stunning views from the summit of Mount Macedon, sample our award-winning food and wine or take in a local market or art gallery. The volunteers at our local Visitor Information Centres, located in Kyneton and Woodend, will be delighted to show you what we have to offer.
