Covering the years 1836 to 1900 Compiled from the files of the "Kyneton Observer" (1856 - 1862) and "Kyneton Guardian" 1863 et seq.

Volume 2
Covering the years 1901 to 1936. Compiled from the files of the "Kyneton Guardian".

Volumes 1 and 2 are snippets of articles and items that appeared in the pages of these newspapers. When they were first compiled they were selected at the discretion of the person collating them. They however give a good insight into the life and times of Kyneton and the surrounding district.

The Kyneton Historical Society holds the original newspapers and they are also on microfilm for viewing. Appointments must be made.
