Projects 

In 2005 Kyneton Historical Society Inc. received a Federal Community Heritage Grant:

Project: Preservation Survey and Training Workshop.

Other grants received in 2005 were:

Macedon Ranges Shire Community Funding Scheme to purchase portable display stands.

Macedon Ranges Shire Australia Day Grants - conducted a free evening at the 'Woodmount', Lauriston Hall, with an introduction by John Dunham on the interesting history of the area:- gold and water and the many colourful people that inhabited the area.

Projects currently undertaken:

• Re-housing original photographs into archival albums
• Collating material on the Kyneton Botanical Gardens
• Compiling a real estate file - to assist people with background on properties
• Updating family histories into display folders
• Indexing rate books
• Indexing photographs

Provided information for the following celebrations in 2006:

• Kyneton Primary School - 150th
• St. Paul's Church of England - 150th
• Kyneton Cricket Club - 150th
• Kyneton Secondary College - 100 years
